The D.I. Mendeleev All-Russian Institute for Metrology (VNIIM) news

From 29 to 30 May, 2008 VNIIM hosted the Fifth Meeting of the COOMET Technical Committee 1.2 "Acoustics. Ultrasound. Vibration" in which participeted 12 representatives from 5 countries (Belarus, Denmark, Cuba, Russia and Ukraine).

The meeting was focused on the results of the TC 1.2 work obtained during the period following the 4th meeting of the Committee. The information about the results of the TC 1.2 members' work (including their participation in key comparisons) was reported and discussed. Two reports on microphone calibration and vibration parameters measuring tools were submitted.
