Following the address of the Executive Office of the Government of the Russian Federation (П7-4177п dated August, 20 2010) we inform you about the organisation of the Moscow International Forum "MetrolExpo-2011" under motto "Measurements in Science and Technology is a Bridge towards Innovation" which will take place on the 17th-19th of May 2011 in the All-Russian Exhibition Centre (ВВЦ).

The organizer of the event is The Federal Agency on Technical Regulating and Metrology (Rosstandart) in association with the Executive Office of the Government of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, The Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, The Ministry of Defence, Russian Federal spase Agensy (Roscosmos) and a number of international organisations (BIPM, OIML, EURAMET, СООМЕТ).

The main objective of the Forum is to underpin national policy of modernisation and technological development of Russian Economy.

In the framework of the Forum there will be organised the 7th International Exhibition of Measuring Instruments, Testing and Laboratory Facilities "MetrolExpo-2011" and the 3rd Moscow International Symposium "Accuracy. Quality. Safety".
