The D.I. Mendeleev All-Russian Institute for Metrology (VNIIM) news

Prof. Ernst O. Gobel, President of the Physikalish-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB) and President of the International Committee for Weights and Measures, and Dr. Peter Becker, Regierungsdirector and Head of the Department of Quantum Optics and Length Unit, chairing also the CCM Working Group on the Avogadro Constant, visited VNIIM on the 21st of June, 2005. At the meeting with the Administration of VNIIM and the Heads of laboratories projects for further cooperation between VNIIM and PTB in different areas of measurements were proposed for subsequent discussions.
